Abstract

We study the influence of the thickness of the glass substrate on the magnetic properties of the Au/Co(1 nm)/Au systems deposited on thick (2 mm) and thin (100 µm) glass by electron beam evaporation. The magnetic investigations were carried out by using Polar Magneto-Optic Kerr Effect (PMOKE).

Author Keywords: Thin glass, Domain wall, nucleation, nucleation field, magnetic anisotropy constant, Barkhausen volume.
