A test was carried between January and June 2014 in the zone of Nkolnkondi II, district of Yaounde 5th, area of Center Cameroon with and aim of contributing to the performance evaluation of growth of Clarias jaensis in fertilized ponds. Abstract: (french)


Un essai a été mené entre Janvier et Juin 2014 dans la zone de Nkolnkondi II, arrondissement de Yaoundé Ve, région du Centre-Cameroun dans le but de contribuer à l’évaluation des performances de croissance de Clarias jaensis en étangs fertilisés. Un total de 1000 juvéniles de Clarias jaensis de poids moyen (20,39±4,87g) a été reparti en traitements de trois(3) lots : le traitement(To) était composé de lots de poissons n’ayant reçu aucun fertilisant, les traitements (T1, T2) composés de lots de poissons nourris aux fientes de poules et aux lisiers de porcs. Le taux d’application des fertilisants organiques a été de 20kg/are, puis de 5kg/are 2fois/semaine, en fonction de la biomasse du poisson. Les résultats suivants ont été obtenus : poids moyens finaux, gains de poids, gains moyens quotidiens et taux de croissance spécifiques de T0 ont été de ( 103,25±5,47g) ; (96,61±3,60g ); (2,97±0,11g/j); (0,054±0.001%g/j), celles de T1 de (140,70±1,27g; (121,93±2,14g); (3,65±0,13g/j); (0,052±00%g/j), et T2 de (120,07±4,56g) ; (112,52±2,47g); (3,33±0,06g/j); ( 0,061±00%g/j). Quant aux taux de survie, ils ont été de (89±5,1 %); ( 95±5,0%); (92,3±5,3%) dansT0, T1, T2.Il en ressort que le traitement T1 du lot nourri aux fientes de poules a enregistré un taux de survie, un poids moyen final et un gain de poids élevés(P˂0,05) des juvéniles de Clarias jaensis comparativement aux traitements T0 et T2.
