This work has been interested in the uniform flow in a trapezoidal shaped channel that is frequently used in irrigation and agricultural drainage. The channel dimensioning necessitates iterations for calculate the friction factor which gives us a major error. We base on the method of rough reference model we calculate the linear dimension of the channel is passing through stages of calculations. The formulas founded are direct and explicit. The steps of calculations are simplified and illustrated by an example of calculation.

Abstract: (french)

Ce travail est intéressé en écoulement uniforme dans un canal de forme trapézoïdale fréquemment utilisé dans l'irrigation et le drainage agricole. Le dimensionnement du canal nécessite des itérations pour le calcul du coefficient de frottement qui nous donne un grand écart d'erreur. En se basant sur la méthode du modèle rugueux de référence en calcul la dimension linéaire du canal passant par des étapes de calcul. Les formules trouvées sont directes et explicites. Les étapes de calcul sont simplifiées et illustré par un exemple de calcul.
