The objective of this study is to model the maximum monthly average annual flows (QMXA) in order to define a flood warning system in the catchment area of the Marahoué (Bandama) (Bouaflé hydrometric station). The methodology used is based on frequency analysis of QMXA (1961-2017) and also on the determination of flood thresholds to give early warnings. Standard laws were selected to conduct frequency analysis. It is clear from this study that the QMXA of the Marahoué have been better adjusted by the Gamma law, followed by the Weibull law finally comes the Log-normal law.The different flood thresholds were therefore assessed on the basis of the Gamma Law. It is the dalerte threshold (802 m3/s), the tolerance threshold (721.8 m3/s) and the crisis threshold (882.2 m3/s). These different thresholds constitute a dalerte system of floods from the Maraboué to Bouaflé.

L’objectif de cette étude est de modéliser les débits moyens mensuels maximaux annuels (QMXA) afin de définir un système d’alertes de crues dans le bassin versant de la Marahoué (Bandama) (station de Bouaflé). Ainsi, la méthodologie employée est basée d’une part sur l’analyse fréquentielle des QMXA (1961-2017) et d’autre part, la détermination de seuils de crues permettant de donner des alertes précoces. Des lois usuelles ont été sélectionnées pour mener l’analyse fréquentielle. Il ressort de cette étude que les QMXA de la Marahoué ont été mieux ajustés par la loi Gamma, suivie de la loi Weibull enfin vient la loi Log-normale. Les différents seuils de crues ont donc été évalués à partir de la loi Gamma. Il s’agit du seuil d’alerte (802 m3/s), du seuil de tolérance (721,8 m3/s) et du seuil de crise (882,2 m3/s). Ces différents seuils constituent un système d’alertes de crues de la Maraboué à Bouaflé.
