Innovation is a powerful driver of development and improved well-being, which can be mobilized to meet social and global challenges. According to the OECD’s Oslo Manual, innovation is defined as «the implementation of a new or substantially improved product (good or service) or (production) process, a new marketing method or a new organizational method in business practices, workplace organization or external relations». This study explores the global innovation index and sustainable development indicators through an in-depth descriptive analysis of the impact of sustainable development on innovation in Morocco. After data analysis and processing, the results highlight the key factors influencing the Global Innovation Index (GII). They make it possible to identify the levers of growth and to steer public policies towards more effective strategies adapted to local realities.

L’innovation est un puissant moteur de développement et d’amélioration du bien-être, qui peut être mobilisé au service des enjeux sociaux et mondiaux. Elle est définie selon le Manuel d’Oslo de l’OCDE [1], comme « la mise en œuvre (implémentation) d’un produit (bien ou service) ou d’un procédé (de production) nouveau ou sensiblement amélioré, d’une nouvelle méthode de commercialisation ou d’une nouvelle méthode organisationnelle dans les pratiques d’une entreprise, l’organisation du lieu de travail ou les relations extérieures ».Cette étude explore l’indice globale de l’innovation et les indicateurs du développement durable à travers une analyse descriptive approfondie de l’impact du développement durable sur l’innovation au Maroc. Après analyse et traitement des données, les résultats obtenus mettent en évidence les facteurs clés influençant l’indice globale de l’innovation (GII). Ils permettent d’identifier les leviers de croissance et d’orienter les politiques publiques vers des stratégies plus efficaces et adaptées aux réalités locales.
