Abstract: (french)
The parietal endometriosis is a rare clinical entity, the pathophysiology remains unclear. It occurs most often after a gynecological or obstetrical surgery. We report the case of a patient with cyclic pain Abdomino-pelvic catamenial. With the clinical examination a mass of 3 cm located in the abdominal under umbilical region.
The ultrasound revealed a median plate under umbilicus at the expense of rectus muscle measuring 30 / 20mm, that suggest endometriosis mass or tumor in soft tissue. Hence the decision was excision of the lesion, in which it was, discovered a hard mass of 3/2 cm, contiguous fascia under the rectus abdomen muscle. Histological study confirmed the diagnosis of parietal endometriosis. Through our case, we will insist the characteristics of this disease that including particularly prognosis,
This will allow the physician to understand the importance of diagnosis and early management of this entity - For whom which we never think enough in front of a parietal mass - and its prevention in each gynecological or obstetric al surgery.
