The present work contributes to the knowledge of the maternal factors of risk of the low birth weight in Bukavu-Sud/Kivu, RD Congo, serious problem. This retrospective survey was possible thanks to the register and to the cards of the patients of the service of neonatology of the hospital of reference of Mpazi-Bukavu, consulted with as criteria of inclusion, all children been born with a weight lower to 2500g, the one of exclusion includes the newborns descended of premature and dead childbirth born. The results discounted after the test of l'ANOVA and the Odds Ratio show that: Of the differences non meaningful stat between the different classes of age of parturient in survey, of or the fact of the luck. Of the differences non meaningful stat between the women having a parity lower to 4 and those having a parity superior and equal to 4, of or the fact of the luck. The prediction is 8% for the dead factor fetal uterine intra, 10% for the factor infection, 15% for Abortion, 19% for parity, factor Alcohol that has a prediction of 70%.

Le présent travail contribue à la connaissance des facteurs de risque maternels du faible poids de naissance à Bukavu-Sud/Kivu, RD Congo, problème sérieux. Cette étude rétrospective a été possible grâce au registre et aux fiches des malades du service de néonatologie et de gynéco-obstétrique de l’hôpital de référence de Panzi-Bukavu, consulté avec comme critère d’inclusion, tous les enfants nés avec un poids inférieur à 2500g, celui d’exclusion englobent les nouveau-nés issus d’accouchement prématuré et morts nés. Les résultats escomptés après le test d’ANOVA et de l’Odds Ratio montrent que : Des différences statistiques non significatives entre les différentes classes d’âge de parturientes en étude, d’où le fait du hasard. Des différences statistiques non significatives entre les femmes ayant une parité inférieure à 4 et celles ayant une parité supérieure et égale à 4, d’où le fait du hasard. La prédiction est de 8% de chance pour le facteur mort fœtale intra utérine, 10% pour le facteur infection, 15% pour l’antécédent d’avortement, 19% pour parité, facteur Alcool qui a une prédiction de 70%.
