The new generation of mobile phones and tablet computers are now fully integrated into the daily lives of young people, to the point that they are considered "new drugs to young people". This article describes the creation and the validation of Smartphones personality scale on the Tunisian market, demonstrating satisfactory psychometric qualities.

Abstract

La nouvelle génération de téléphones mobiles ainsi que les tablettes tactiles sont aujourd’hui parfaitement intégrés dans la vie quotidienne des jeunes, à tel point qu’ils sont considérés comme « une nouvelle drogue pour les jeunes ». Cet article retrace la procédure de création et de validation d'une échelle de mesure de la personnalité des Smartphones sur le marché tunisien, qui démontre des qualités psychométriques satisfaisantes.
