This paper details the applications of routing algorithms or tracing routes through GPS (Global Positioning System, for its acronym in English) on different devices on the market, such as mobile devices called gadgets, GPS sensors, radars, Smartphones, wereable, etc. Also has been analyzed systems such as HERE and GoogleMaps with StreetView service. They show on their websites virtual maps with relevant information in second or third dimension of road networks, or real-time information as roadblocks or under construction as well as vehicular traffic routes of the world's major cities. This research concludes with the main advantages and disadvantages of these routing algorithms with the intention that in future work are evidenced by experiment and simulation to identify negative entropy of these systems, and the performance of these within a controlled environment.

Abstract

Este trabajo detallan las aplicaciones de algoritmos de encaminamiento o de trazado de rutas por medio de GPS (Global Positioning System, por sus siglas en inglés) en los diferentes dispositivos presentes en el mercado como son, dispositivos móviles llamados gadgets, sensores GPS, radares, Smartphones, wereable, etc. Se analizan sistemas comerciales como HERE y GoogleMaps con su servicio Street View. Estos muestran en sus sitios web mapas virtuales con información relevante en segunda o tercera dimensión de las redes de carreteras, o información en tiempo real como carreteras bloqueadas o en construcción, así como tráfico vehicular de vías de las principales ciudades del mundo. Esta investigación concluye con las principales ventajas y desventajas de estos algoritmos de encaminamiento con la intención de que en un futuro trabajo se evidencien, mediante la experimentación y simulación para identificar las entropías negativas de estos sistemas, además el rendimiento de estos dentro de un ambiente controlado.
