Characterized by the agro pastoralism and pastoralism, breeding is essentially extensive in Niger. However, the pastoral resources are more and more threatened by crops farms. To better securize fodder resources, the Departmental Commission Land of Boboye through its partners has processed to the mapping of these fodder resources. This study was conducted to assess the perception of actors of the rural community of Fabidji on how to secure fodder resources. A number of 76 persons consisted of officials for pastoral resource management and users of fodder resources were investigated. According to the survey results, 75% of the farmers and 63.6% of the livestock breeders asserted that the cartography has made access easier to the pastoral resources. According to farmers (91.3%) and livestock breeders (82.6%), the typology of pastoral resources has been well drawn by the cartography. At the organization level, all the ALHERI members (100%), AREN (100%) and those of the administration (100%), the majority members of FNEN DADO (75%) and the non-affiliates (96%) think that the cartography has permitted to improve the knowledge on pastoral resources. 75% of village leaders declared that the cartography has permitted to preserve of the pastoral resources. For the majority of AREN (85.7%), ALHERI (50%), FNEN DADO (50%), administration (71. 4%) and (92%) of non-affiliates, the cartography has permitted to sort out of conflicts between breeders and agriculturists.

Au Niger, l’élevage est essentiellement extensif caractérisé par le pastoralisme et l’agro-pastoralisme. Cependant, les ressources pastorales sont de plus en plus menacées par les champs de cultures. Dans le but de mieux sécuriser les ressources pastorales, la Commission Foncière Départementale de Boboye à travers ses partenaires, a procédé à une cartographie desdites ressources pastorales du département. Cette étude a été menée pour évaluer la perception des acteurs de la commune rurale de Fabidji sur la sécurisation des ressources pastorales. Un effectif de 72 personnes composé des responsables de la gestion pastorale et des utilisateurs des ressources pastorales a été enquêté. Selon les résultats de l’enquête, 75% des agriculteurs et 63,6% des éleveurs ont affirmé que la cartographie a facilité l’accès aux ressources pastorales. En effet 91,3% des agriculteurs et 82,6% des éleveurs ont affirmé que la cartographie a respecté la typologie des ressources pastorales. Au niveau des structures, tous les membres d’ALHERI (100%), d’AREN (100%), de l’administration (100%), la majorité des membres de FNEN DADDO (75%) et des non affiliés (96%); pensent que la cartographie a permis d’améliorer les connaissances sur les ressources pastorales. 75% des décideurs et leaders villageois ont déclaré que cette cartographie a permis de sécuriser les ressources pastorales. Pour la majorité des membres d’AREN (85,7%), d’ALHERI (50%), de FNEN DADDO (50%), de l’administration (71,4%) et 92% des non affiliés; elle a largement contribué au règlement des conflits entre agriculteurs et éleveurs.
