Introduction: The medical laboratory is one of the elements of the quality of care; the prevention and management of infectious and non-infectious pathologies depend on it. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out in the province of North Kivu using a medical laboratory for the health training of the national police; observations and interviews were used to take stock. Results: 4/10 of the national police health facility does not have a laboratory technician, insufficient technical facilities, lack of basic equipment with untimely breakdown of inputs are the characteristics of medical laboratories within police health facilities national. Conclusion: The lack of laboratory and certain basic equipment in the health structures of the national police in North Kivu has a significant impact on the medical care of police officers and their dependents as well as on the profitability of law enforcement officers in their profession.

Introduction: Le laboratoire médical est l’un des éléments de la qualité des soins; la prévention et la prise en charge des pathologie infectieuses et non infectieuses en dépend. Méthodes: Une étude transversale descriptive l’enquête a été réalisé dans la province du nord Kivu au seins de laboratoire médical de formation sanitaire de la police national; des observations et des entretiens ont été utilisé pour faire leur état de lieu. Résultats: 4/10 de formation sanitaire de la police national ne dispose pas de technicien de laboratoire, insuffisance dans le plateau technique, manque des équipements de base avec rupture intempestive des intrants sont les caractéristiques des laboratoires médicales au seins des formations sanitaire de la police nationale. Conclusion: Les manque de laboratoire et certains équipements de base dans les structures sanitaires de la police nationale au nord kivu à un impact significatif sur la prise en charge médicale de policiers et leur dépendant ainsi qu’à la rentabilité des agents de l’ordre dans leur métier.
