Contributing to the determination of the frequency of anguillulosis in people living with HIV/AIDS, in the reduction of this helminthiasis in this category of people at the Pandji General Reference Hospital in Tshela in the DRC, is the main goal of this research.Sixty stool samples, taken from people living with HIV/AIDS in consultation at the Pandji General Reference Hospital in Tshela and analyzed in the laboratory of the said HGR, according to WHO standards in this area. Indeed, the results of the analyses of these stool samples showed that 8 samples were positive out of a total of 60 or 13%. In addition, the female sex was the most affected with 6 cases out of a total of 8 or 75%. The most infested age group was 41 to 49 years with 4 cases out of 8 or 50%.The danger remains among pvVs, so it is imperative and urgent to consider health education, recall the notions of basic hygiene to pvVs in Tshela Territory in particular and those of Kongo Central in general, if we want to still see PVVs with longevity.

Contribuer à la détermination de la fréquence d’anguillulose chez les personnes vivant avec le VIH/SIDA, dans la réduction de cette helminthiase dans cette catégorie des personnes à l’hôpital Général de Référence Pandji de Tshela en RDC, est le but principal visé dans cette recherche.Soixante échantillons des selles, prélevés chez les personnes vivant avec le VIH/SIDA en consultation à l’hôpital Général de Référence Pandji de Tshela et analysés dans le laboratoire dudit HGR, selon les normes de l’OMS en la matière. En effet, les résultats des analyses de ces échantillons des selles ont montré que 8 échantillons étaient positif sur un total de 60 soit 13%. En outre, le sexe féminin était le plus touché avec 6 cas sur un total de 8 soit 75%. La tranche d’âge la plus infestée était celle de 41 à 49 ans avec 4 cas sur 8 soit 50%.Le danger reste chez les PVV, il est donc impérieux et urgent d’envisager une éducation sanitaire, rappeler les notions d’hygiène de base aux PVV de Territoire de Tshela en particulier et à ceux de Kongo Central en général, si l’on veut voir encore les PVV avec une longévité.
