Education and Environment should stand together for a better fruitful partnership. Unfortunately, in Kinshasa, these two realities are not reconciled. Indeed, qualitative survey and investigations carried out in Limete commune revealed thad Education and Environment are not moving along side by side. There is both éducation educational and Enivironmental crisis. This situation provokes human vulnerability and educational collapse in Kinshasa city. As remedial strategies, our study suggests various solutions to improve both the quality of the education and the environmental sustainability.

Education et Environnement doivent faire bon ménage. Malheureusement, à Kinshasa en République Démocratique du Congo, ces deux variables ne se concilient pas entre elles. En effet, les observations, les entretiens et une enquête qualitative menée par cette étude dans les milieux scolaires de la commune de Limete-Kinshasa montrent que ceux-ci plongent dans une crise environnementale qui vulnérabilise les humains et le système éducatif kinois. Pour remédier à cela, l’étude propose une panoplie de solutions afin de promouvoir une gestion durable des environnements scolaires dans la ville de Kinshasa.
