Abstract


Last subprime financial crisis of 2007 did return to the stage the issue of banking risks, particularly liquidity risk. This risk must be currently managed by more sophisticated methods and more attention. The main objective of this research is to analyze the liquidity of Moroccan banking sector, because, ultimately, all the proposed routes are articulated around it. Thus, monetary policy tends to naturally control the increase in the volume of money available to agents nonbank sector to make it compatible with the rate of change in the overall supply of goods and services. This article is based on a retrospective analysis provides some answers of the various underlying causes of bank liquidity in Morocco.

Abstract: (french)


La dernière crise financière des subprimes de 2007 a fait retourner à la scène la question des risques bancaires, plus particulièrement le risque de liquidité. Ce risque doit être géré actuellement par des méthodes plus sophistiquées et avec plus d'attention. L'objectif principal de cette recherche est l'analyse de la liquidité du secteur bancaire marocain, parce que, finalement, tous les itinéraires proposés sont articulés autour d'elle. Ainsi, la politique monétaire a tendance à contrôler naturellement l'augmentation du volume de la monnaie mis à la disposition des agents de secteur non bancaires pour le rendre compatible avec le taux de variation de l'offre globale de biens et de services. Cet article fondé sur une analyse rétrospective fournit des éléments de réponses des diverses causes sous-jacentes de la sous liquidité bancaire au Maroc.
