Abstract


It is currently noticed for the period of festivity of Christmas and New Year, an addition of table fowl in the diet of the Lushoise, even more stripped; its marketing is widespread in the large arteries and everywhere where there is an intense circulation. This study has like general objective, that to analyze the periodic marketing of table fowls in the town of Lubumbashi. To arrive there, the following specific goals were pursued: to identify the salesmen, the sold races, the places of sources, the constraints, to release the profit and the profitability of this activity.40 % of these salesmen except markets whose 77 actors were surveyed. The data were seized in Excel and the statistical analysis was made on the basis of language R version 2.15.0. (The descriptive analysis, the test of student with the threshold of 5% and the simple regression). The results obtained show that this activity is practiced by the women (79,0 %), detailing (92, 2 %), which practice the trade of the agricultural produce like principal activity (95,0 %) and which directs their capital in the sale of table fowls for the period of festivity of Christmas and new year. Il est remarqué actuellement pendant la période de festivité de noël et de nouvel an, un ajout du poulet de chair dans le régime alimentaire du lushois, même le plus démuni :sa commercialisation est répandue dans les grandes artères et partout où il y a une circulation intense. Cette étude a comme objectif général, celui d’analyser la commercialisation périodique des poulets de chairs dans la ville de Lubumbashi. Pour y arriver, les objectifs spécifiques suivants ont été poursuivis : identifier les vendeurs, les races vendues, les lieux de provenances, les contraintes, de dégager le profit et la rentabilité de cette activité. 40 % de ces vendeurs hors marchés dont 77 acteurs ont été enquêtés. Les données ont été saisies à l’Excel et l’analyse statistique était faite sur base du langage R version 2.15.0. (L’analyse descriptive, le test de student au seuil de 5% et la régression simple). Les résultats obtenus montrent que cette activité est pratiquée par les femmes (79,0 %), détaillantes (92, 2%), qui pratiquent le commerce des produits agricoles comme activité principale (95,0%) et qui orientent leurs capitaux dans la vente des poulets de chairs pendant la période de festivité de noël et de nouvel an. Cette activité génère dans 2 à 3 jours un profit moyen de 172 789 ±126261,2 CDF et un taux de rentabilité de 48,16%. Le taux élevé de mortalité, le manque des lieux d’abris pour les invendus, le manque de transport adapté et la perte de poids de poulets de chairs sont les contraintes majeures. Cette étude a permis de percevoir la dynamique des vendeurs à travers le rôle que joue la femme dans les ménages pauvres de Lubumbashi.
