[ Essai d’estimation de la demande de la population de la commune de Kadutu en produits d’origine animale ]

The insufficiency of the space where must be exerted the breeding in the commune of Kadutu is one of factors of the dearness of the animal products of every day consumption by the population. Thus, the diets of the population of this region contain less food able to get animal proteins to him however necessary for good health. Whereas the population of this commune does not cease increasing entrain at the same time the increase in the request for foodstuffs, it is observed on the markets that the prices of the foodstuffs of animal origin are unstable, generally fluctuating with the rise with the detriment of the population, from where it is observed there a certain food insecurity in this commune. These prices are not posted and vary according to the petitioning customer, the hour of the sale and the place of the transaction. These products are especially sold with the population with the micro detail because they are especially many those which cannot get some easily because of their weak purchasing power. This research which had as a principal objective to inform the various actors interested by the transactions of these products about the mechanism of marketing of these products (the needs for the market, the products desired and the prices, the strategies to be developed, the forces, the weaknesses, the appropriatenesses and the threats this activity in this medium, while making information more transparent to contribute to the space integration of the markets for thus promoting the food safety of the population of this commune. It was carried out on ground, in the markets, by means of a sample survey based on random sample active sales men marketing these products into the markets. The quantities of foodstuffs of animal origin required in this commune are estimated at 12880 kilograms of meat, 8610 heads of bovines sold on foot, 5866 heads of squids, 4876 heads the caprine ones, 1688 heads of sheep, and 5926 heads of porcine;14372 kilograms is the quantity of products of fishing required on the markets of the commune of Kadutu in direction of territories, 49074 kilograms is the quantity of "sambaza", pins and other types of fish of the lake Kivu sold on the markets of Kadutu;7839500 kilograms of fresh tilapia sold; 120892 liters of milk were required by the consumers, and 90563 eggs were sold with the population of the commune of Kadutu on various markets of this region.

L’insuffisance de l’espace où doit s’exercer l’élevage dans la commune de Kadutu est l’un de facteurs de la cherté des produits d’origine animale de consommation courante par la population. Ainsi, les régimes alimentaires de la population de cette contrée contiennent moins d’aliments capables de lui procurer de protéines animales pourtant nécessaires pour la bonne santé. Alors que la population de cette commune ne cesse d’accroitre entrainant en même temps l’accroissement de la demande de produits alimentaires, il s’observe sur les marchés que les prix des produits alimentaires d’origine animale sont instables, fluctuant le plus souvent à la hausse au détriment de la population, d’où il s’y observe une certaine insécurité alimentaire dans cette commune. Ces prix ne sont pas affichés et varient suivant le client demandeur, l’heure de la vente et le lieu de la transaction. Ces produits sont surtout vendus à la population au micro détail car ils sont surtout nombreuxceux qui ne peuvent pas s’en procurer aisément du fait de leur faible pouvoir d’achat. Cette recherche qui avait pour objectif principal de renseigner les différents acteurs intéressés par les transactions de ces produits sur le mécanisme de commercialisation de ces produits( les besoins du marché, les produits désirés et les prix, les stratégies à développer, les forces, les faiblesses, les opportunités et les menaces de cette activité dans ce milieu, en rendant l’information plus transparente pour contribuer à l’intégration spatiale des marchés pour ainsi promouvoir la sécurité alimentaire de la population de cette commune. Elle a été réalisée sur terrain, dans les marchés, au moyen d’une enquête par sondage à base d’un échantillon aléatoire de vendeurs actifs commercialisant ces produits sur les marchés. Les quantités de produits alimentaires d’origine animale demandées dans cette commune sont estimées à12880 kilogrammes de viande, 8610 têtes de bovins vendus sur pied, 5866 têtes de suidés, 4876 têtes de caprins, 1688 têtes de d’ovins, et 5926 têtes de porcins ; 14372 kilogrammes est la quantité de produits de pêche demandés sur les marchés de la commune de Kadutu en direction de territoires, 49074 kilogrammes est la quantité de « sambaza », de goujons et autres types de poisson du lac Kivu vendus sur les marchés de Kadutu ; 7839500 kilogrammes de tilapia frais vendus ; 120892 litres de lait ont été demandés par les consommateurs, et 90563 œufs ont été vendus à la population de la commune de Kadutu sur différents marchés de cette contrée.
