The physical reality is often very complicated to be able to analytically solve mechanical problems. Currently, the only approaches making it possible to meet these needs are based on numerical methods based on the discretization of the problems. In mechanical and civil engineering, significant efforts are currently focused on the use of numerical simulations to solve these problems. This work is a comparative approach focusing on the analytical method to solve the problem of the bending of a beam and a numerical approach based on simulation by the Cast3M calculation code. The results obtained are of great agreement.

Abstract

La réalité physique est souvent très compliquée pour pouvoir résoudre analytiquement des problèmes mécaniques. Actuellement, les seules approches permettant de répondre à ces besoins sont fondées sur les méthodes numériques basées sur la discrétisation des problèmes. En génie mécanique et civil, des efforts importants portent actuellement sur l’utilisation des simulations numériques pour résoudre ces problèmes. Ce travail est une approche comparative portant sur la méthode analytique pour résoudre le problème de la flexion d’une poutre et une approche numérique basée sur la simulation par le code de calcul Cast3M. Les résultats obtenus sont d’une grande concordance.
