The pregnant woman offers a favorable environment for germs that fight her ability to fight infection, which justifies the increased susceptibility of the pregnant woman to many infectious diseases. CRP has very rapid evolution kinetics during an infectious inflammatory syndrome; its investigation allows early diagnosis of an infectious syndrome, which potentiates the diagnostic value of its assay. The overall objective of this study was to search for the protein; reactive in pregnant women at the Kangu General Reference Hospital. During our study we found that according to the distribution of the results of the CRP of pregnant women that out of 74 samples in total, 46 were positive or 62.16% and 28 negative or 37.84%. The distribution of CRP results according to age groups revealed that the age group of 16 to 25 years old had a CRP positivity rate of 32.43% and that of 36 to 45 years old with 5. 41% out of a total of 74 samples, the two age groups presented being respectively the most affected and the least affected. The distribution of CRP results according to the age of pregnancy indicated that the 2nd trimester of pregnancy presented a positivity rate of 37.84% with 28 cases; and moreover, the 3rd trimester with 10.81% or 8 out of the total of 74. The said age groups being the most infected and the least infected.

La femme enceinte offre un environnement favorable aux germes qui combattent sa capacité à combattre une infection, ce qui justifie l’augmentation de susceptibilité de la femme enceinte à des nombreuses maladies infectieuses. La CRP, possède une cinétique d’évolution très rapide lors d’un syndrome inflammatoire infectieux; son investigation permet de diagnostiquer précocement un syndrome infectieux, ce qui potentialise la valeur diagnostique de son dosage. L’objectif global de cette étude était de rechercher la protéine ; réactive chez les femmes en ceintes à l’hôpital général de référence de Kangu. Durant notre étude nous avons constaté que selon la répartition des résultats de de la CRP de femmes enceintes que sur 74 échantillons au total, 46 était positifs soit 62,16% et 28 négatifs soit 37,84%. La répartition des résultats de la CRP selon les tranches d’âge a révélé que la tranche d’âge de 16 à 25 ans a présenté un taux de positivité à la CRP de 32,43% et celle de 36 à 45 ans avec 5,41% sur un total de 74 échantillons les deux tranches d’âge présentées étant respectivement la plus touchée et la moins touchée. La répartition des résultats de la CRP selon l’âge de la grossesse a indiqué que le 2ème trimestre de la grossesse a présenté un taux de positivité de 37,84% avec 28 cas; et par ailleurs, le 3ème trimestre avec 10,81% soit 8 sur le total de 74. Les dires tranches d’âge étant la plus infectée et la moins infectée.
