The article focuses on the M’BUTI incubator model, an innovative generator of projects in various sectors of life. It is inspired by Mandombe writing, a medium for ensuring the decolonization of knowledge. In conducting this study, we aim to explore how cultural imprints can enhance project conceptualization and management at the local level. The main question this research seeks to answer is that of measuring the effectiveness of applying local solutions to local problems. Using the non-probabilistic snowball method, we were able to draw up a sample of 180 Mandombists, enabling us to explore in the field the possibilities of designing models using Mandombe script symbols. The results show that the application of the M’BUTI model enhances the creativity of its users and stimulates innovation in various sectors. Its application has already enabled a dozen medical students at Kinshasa’s Simon Kimbangu University to design medical instruments such as vein locators, catheters and rib management software, not to mention a number of Mandombe people who have developed several theories, including a «4P agricultural method» adapted to the rural environment. In conclusion, the M’BUTI model is an essential alternative in project management, taking into account the particularities of Congolese culture.

L’article se concentre sur le modèle d’incubateur M’BUTI, un générateur innovant de projets dans divers secteurs de la vie. Il s’inspire de l’écriture Mandombe, un support permettant d’assurer la décolonisation du savoir. En menant cette étude, nous souhaitons explorer comment les empreintes culturelles peuvent améliorer la conceptualisation et la gestion de projet au niveau local. La question principale à laquelle cette recherche tente de répondre est celle de mesurer l’efficacité d’appliquer des solutions locales à des problèmes locaux. Grâce au procédé non probabiliste de la boule de neige, nous avons pu constituer un échantillon de 180 personnes, parmi les mandombistes, qui nous a permis d’explorer sur le terrain les possibilités de concevoir des modèles avec les symboles de l’écriture Mandombe. Les résultats montrent que l’application du modèle M’BUTI améliore la créativité de ses utilisateurs et stimule l’innovation dans divers secteurs. Son application a déjà permis à une dizaine d’étudiants en médecine de l’Université Simon Kimbangu de Kinshasa de concevoir des instruments médicaux comme des dispositifs de localisation des veines, des cathéters, des logiciels de gestion des côtes, sans oublier certains mandombistes qui ont mis en place plusieurs théories, dont une « Méthode agricole en 4P » adaptée au milieu rural. En conclusion, le modèle M’BUTI se veut une alternative essentielle dans la gestion de projet en tenant compte des particularités culturelles congolaises.
