Ethnobotanical surveys on three new medicinal plants of Congo were undertaken in suburban localities of Pointe noire and Brazzaville. These are: Anomacanthus congolanus Brummitt (Acanthaceae), Byrsanthus brownii Guill. (Saliacaceae) and Croton dybowskii Hutch. (Euphorbiaceae). For each of them, are noted the used organ, the modes of preparation and administration of medicinal recipes and the treated pathology.

Abstract

Des enquêtes ethnobotaniques sur trois nouvelles plantes médicinales du Congo sont entreprises dans les localités périurbaines de Pointe noire de et Brazzaville. Il s’agit de: Anomacanthus congolanus Brummitt (Acanthaceae), Byrsanthus brownii Guill. (Saliacaceae) et Croton dybowskii Hutch. (Euphorbiaceae). Pour chacune d’elles, sont notés l’organe utilisé, les modes de préparation et d’administration des recettes et la pathologie traitée.
