The clandestine exploitation of gold in Nyan in the Adzopé department with its rapid evolution has led to an uncontrolled migration of miners. This article aims to determine the impact of clandestine gold mining on Nyan populations. It also aims to highlight the interactions of the actors in the controversial resilience game system of illegal gold panning in the village of Nyan. Adopting a qualitative approach for data collection, individual interviews and focus-groups were used. The results show that this clandestine activity has contributed to the creation of other income-generating activities and to improve somewhat the living conditions of some villagers. Beyond these advantages, gold panning in Nyan has negative impacts on the environment, health and daily life of the people. Awareness campaigns among the various social strata of the village and sometimes intimidations presented themselves as an alternative of resilience which helped to put an end to this activity in the village.

L’exploitation clandestine de l’or à Nyan dans le département d’Adzopé, avec son évolution rapide a débouché sur une migration incontrôlée des orpailleurs. Cet article se propose de déterminer l’impact de l’exploitation clandestine de l’or sur les populations de Nyan. Il vise, en outre, à mettre en évidence, les interactions des acteurs dans le système de jeu de résilience controversée de l’orpaillage clandestin dans le village de Nyan. Adoptant une démarche de type qualitatif pour la collecte des données, des entretiens individuels et des focus-group ont été utilisés. Les résultats obtenus révèlent que cette activité clandestine a contribué à la création d’autres activités génératrices de revenus et à améliorer un tant soit peu, la condition de vie de certains villageois. Au-delà de ces avantages, l’orpaillage à Nyan a des impacts négatifs sur l’environnement, la santé et le vécu quotidien des populations. Des campagnes de sensibilisation auprès des différentes couches sociales du village et parfois des intimidations se sont présentées comme une alternative de résilience qui ont contribué à mettre fin à cette activité dans le village.
