An integrated quantitative and qualitative research approach was used to analyze published scientific research on strategic alliances over the period 1980-2018 in the Web of Science database. Using bibliometric techniques and a content analysis of the articles, the results of this work provide an understanding of the scientific research conducted of strategic alliances and explore the evolution of themes in this field over the period 1980-2018.

Abstract
An integrated quantitative and qualitative research approach was used to analyze published scientific research on strategic alliances over the period 1980-2018 in the Web of Science database. Une approche intégrée des études quantitative et qualitative a été réalisée pour analyser la recherche scientifique publiée sur les alliances stratégiques au cours de la période 1980-2018 dans la base de données Web of science. A l’aide des techniques bibliométriques et une analyse de contenu des articles, les résultats de ce travail permettent de comprendre la recherche scientifique menée sur les alliances stratégiques et d’explorer l’évolution des thèmes abordés dans ce domaine au cours de la période 1980-2018.
