The Geographic Information System ranks among the flagship tools in the approach of new information and communication technologies, and this in land management which, currently, is at the center of several studies especially with the document digitization project. Cadastral in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In the context of the province of Haut-Katanga, through its land division of Haut-Katanga which presents a rapid demographic growth, and which knows a lot of requests for land which sometimes cause land conflicts following spoliations, encroachments and attributions multiples of the plots to several applicants following the mismanagement of the subdivisions which does not guarantee the security of the title deeds. To respond to land management concerns, we are proposing through this study the Geographic Information System and its means of implementation to assess the degree of resolution of land disputes.

Le Système d’information géographique se range parmi les outils phares dans l’approche des nouvelles technologies de l’information et de la communication, et cela dans la gestion du foncier qui, actuellement est au centre de plusieurs études surtout avec le projet de numérisation des documents cadastraux en République Démocratique du Congo. Dans le contexte de la province du Haut - Katanga, à travers sa circonscription foncière du Haut-Katanga qui présente une croissance démographique rapide, et qui connait beaucoup de sollicitations des terres qui causent parfois des conflits fonciers suite aux spoliations, aux empiètements et aux attributions multiples des parcelles à plusieurs requérants suite à la mauvaise gestion des lotissements qui ne garantit pas la sécurité des titres de propriété. Pour répondre aux préoccupations de gestion du foncier nous proposons à travers cette étude le Système d’information géographique et ses moyens de mise en œuvre pour évaluer le degré de résolution des conflits fonciers.
