In this paper we present the relation between theoretical and practical linguistics with the education. We discuss several theories which aim to define the process followed by the teacher to improve learner's skills.
We will focus particularly on two notions: skill and competence, we present also a strategic model of second year baccalaureate, taking into consideration the mental and emotion level of the learner.
