Cet article vise à examiner l'adéquation entre les mesures de prévention et risques professionnels dans les usines de la Gécamines-Lubumbashi en RDC, durant la période allant de 2010 à 2014. Il est basé sur les données recueillies par le questionnaire dit d’administration indirecte, que nous avons adressés aux agents et aux contremaîtres, notre propre observation prolongée dans les ateliers ainsi que sur les statistiques émises par l’entreprise. Le traitement de ces données a été effectué grâce au test du chi-carré. Les principaux résultats de cette enquête montrent que, le port d’un équipement adéquat (gants, bottes, combinaisons, foulard, masque, lunettes adaptées, etc.) ainsi que le fait d’observer strictement les directives des contremaîtres, réduisent considérablement les risques professionnels dans les usines.
