Plants constitute a precious resource and a true treasure for humanity. They play an important role ecologically, economically and socially. Plants produce oxygen, they regulate the climate, they purify water, they provide food, they provide health benefits. this study, on the one hand, makes an inventory of the species of medicinal plants encountered in the botanical garden of Eyale and on the other hand, it presents their impacts on the indigenous peoples (the pygmies) of the city of Mbandaka in the DRC.

Les plantes constituent une ressource précieuse et un véritable trésor pour l’humanité. Elles jouent un rôle important sur le plan écologique, économique et social. Les plantes produisent d’oxygène, elles régularisent le climat, elles purifient l’eau, elles donnent la nourriture, elles fournissent des bienfaits pour la santé... Cette étude, fait d’une part, l’inventaire des espèces des plantes médicinales rencontrées dans le jardin botanique d’Eyale et d’autre part, elle présente leurs impacts sur les peuples autochtones (les pygmées) de la ville de Mbandaka en RDC.
