Political communication corresponds to the intervention of the political body at decisive moments, particularly during election campaigns or debates. The King of Morocco, as representative of the nation, intervenes at national festivals or on occasions imposed by the political agenda (meeting with a head of state, opening of the parliamentary session, etc.) Speech dedicated to the people and the international community. The construction of his discourse is based on methods of persuasion and argumentation that call upon traditional and modern concepts, in this case allegiance and the Constitution. Social and psychological identity functions in correlation with the discursive identity in order to communicate to the audience an ethos of legitimacy and credibility.

La communication politique correspond à l’intervention de l’instance politique à des moments décisifs et précis notamment pendant les campagnes électorales ou les débats. Le Roi du Maroc, en sa qualité de représentant de la nation, intervient lors des fêtes nationales ou à des occasions imposées par l’agenda politique (rencontre avec un chef d’état, ouverture de la session parlementaire, etc.) pour prononcer un discours dédié au peuple ainsi qu’à la communauté internationale. La construction de son discours repose sur des procédés de persuasion et d’argumentation qui font appel à des concepts traditionnels et modernes en l’occurrence l’allégeance et la Constitution. L’identité sociale et psychologique fonctionne en corrélation avec l’identité discursive pour communiquer à l’auditoire un ethos de légitimité et de crédibilité.
