With a view to economic growth that generates social well-being with an accessible, efficient and quality public service, the Ivorian government has adopted the State of Côte d’Ivoire has developed the Government’s Social Program 2019-2020 (PSGov 2019-2020). In its strategic axis 5 of this program aims to create the conditions for improving the well-being of populations in rural areas and to ensure food security. How to achieve this in the agricultural sector marked by the persistence of gender inequalities? The article proposes a systematic integration of gender in the agricultural sector in rural areas. The main objective of this study is to show the interest of taking gender into account in agricultural development projects in order to allow everyone, men and women, to enjoy the fruits of their labors in a fair and equitable manner. The hypothesis of this study is: the development of the rural world is ensured when inequalities between men and women are reduced considerably in the rural agricultural sector. As a methodology, the Gender approach, the product of a comparative analysis of the situation between men and women through a quantitative and qualitative method enhanced by documentary research, we identify the different characteristic elements of inequality gender in the agricultural sector in rural areas.

Dans la perspective d’une croissance économique qui génère un bien-être social avec un service public accessible, efficace et de qualité, le gouvernement ivoirien a adopté le l’État de Côte d’Ivoire a élaboré le Programme Social du Gouvernement 2019-2020 (PSGouv 2019-2020). Dans son axe stratégique 5 de ce programme vise à créer les conditions d’amélioration du bien-être des populations en milieu rural et à assurer la sécurité alimentaire. Comment y parvenir dans le secteur agricole marqué par la persistance des inégalités de Genre ? L’article propose une intégration systématique du genre dans le secteur agricole en milieu rural. L’objectif principal de cette étude est de montrer l’intérêt de la prise en compte du genre dans les projets de développement agricole afin de permettre à tous, hommes et femmes de jouir de façon juste et équitable des fruits de leurs labeurs. L’hypothèse de cette étude est: le développement du monde rural est assuré quand les inégalités entre les hommes et les femmes sont réduites considérablement dans le secteur agricole rural. En tant que méthodologie, l’approche Genre, produit d’une analyse comparée de la situation entre hommes et femmes à travers donc une méthode quantitative et qualitative renchérie par la recherche documentaire, nous identifions les différent éléments caractéristiques de l’inégalité du genre dans le secteur agricole en milieu rural.
