This study on the impact of agriculture was carried out in the province of central Kongo, precisely in the territory of Kimvula. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate tha the lack of supervision of peasants, the poor condition of the roads means that the vehicles of traders no longer arrived at Kimvula, this handicaps the development of peasant agriculture in the area under study. To do this, we have used the following methods and techniques: analytical, inductive ant interview survey. The results showed that the territory of Kimvula has an agriculture that does not have a positive impact on economic development due to low production. Indeed, we note that agricultural production in 2020 and 2022 has either deteriorated or fallen to worrying proportions. This situation has negatively influenced the standard of living of the population.This means that agricultural production in Kimvula has not been able to feed its population and therefore ensure its own food security. Mainly due to low production. The majority of Kimvula households have low incomes and therefore low purchasing power and uncomfortable living conditions.

Cette étude sur l’impact de l’agriculture a été réalisée dans la province du Kongo Central, précisément dans le territoire de Kimvula. La présente étude a pour but de démontrer que le manque d’encadrement de paysans, le mauvais état des routes fait en sorte que les véhicules de commerçants n’arrivent plus à Kimvula, cela handicape le développement de l’agriculture paysanne dans la zone sous étude. Pour ce faire, nous avons recouru aux méthodes et techniques suivantes: les méthodes analytique, comparative, inductive et la technique d’enquête par interview. Les résultats ont montré que le territoire de Kimvula dispose d’une agriculture qui n’a pas d’impact positif sur le développement économique à cause de faible production. En effet, on remarque que la production agricole en 2020 et 2022 s’est soit détériorée, soit qu’elle soit chutée à des proportions inquiétantes. Cette situation a influencé négativement le niveau de vie de la population. Cela signifie que la production agricole à Kimvula n’a pas été capable de nourrir sa population et donc d’assurer sa propre sécurité alimentaire, en raison notamment de la faiblesse de la production. La majorité des ménages de Kimvula ont des revenus modiques et donc un faible pouvoir d’achat et des conditions de vie inconfortables.
