The study of the determinants of resistance to the use of contraceptive methods among women of childbearing age in the city of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) that we have just conducted focused on 2,373 women drawn in the Districts, Communes, Quarters and streets of Kinshasa. Contraceptives being divided into groups of: - modern contraceptives; - traditional contraceptives and others. This study has shown that there are women who do not like to use contraceptives, others use some by rejecting others. Therefore, the following characteristics of resistance to use of contraceptive methods at women of childbearing age: age; the level of education, the number of children born; financial income; the occupation of women; marital status; the place of residence; The religion and opinion about these methods have been developed and proved that this behavior stems from the misinformation given to women about these methods. The statistical analysis using the Chi-Carré test was done to show the number of resistant women and those who use some of the contraceptive methods. The Epidata software was used to plot the tables carrying the results.

L’étude des déterminants des résistances à l’utilisation des méthodes contraceptives chez les femmes à l’âge de procréer dans la ville de Kinshasa en République Démocratique du Congo (RDC) que nous venons de mener avait porté sur 2.373 femmes tirées dans les Districts, Communes, Quartiers et rues de Kinshasa. Les contraceptives étant reparties en groupe de : - les contraceptifs modernes ; - les contraceptives traditionnelles et autres. Cette étude a démontré qu’il existe les femmes qui n’aiment pas utiliser des contraceptives, d’autres utilisent certaines en rejetant d’autres. C’est pourquoi, les caractéristiques suivantes des résistances à l’utilisation des méthodes contraceptives chez les femmes à l’âge de procréer : l’âge ; le niveau d’instruction, le nombre d’enfants mis au monde ; le revenu financier ; l’occupation des femmes ; la situation matrimoniale ; le milieu de résidence ; la religion et l’opinion sur ces méthodes ont été développés et ont prouvé que ce comportement émane de la mauvaise information donnée aux femmes sur ces méthodes. L’analyse statistique à l’aide du test de Chi-Carré était faite pour ressortir le nombre de femmes résistantes et celles qui utilisent certaines des méthodes contraceptives. Le logiciel Epidata était exploité pour tracer les tableaux porteurs des résultats.
